The only knitting machine I offer is the LK 150 model by Silver Reed. I have been using this model for about 8 years now and have used it for everything from laceweight to bulky with success. I even have used it for pretty heavily textured yarns. It is easy to shape (increase and decrease) and do simple cables on it. You can also do ribbing, though it takes some hand manipulation to do it and I'm not sure its faster than hand knitting ribbing (at least for me). I have on occasion hand knit a lace edge and then put it on the machine to work the body of the garment in stockinette stitch. There is also an intarsia and fair isle attachment that can be bought at additional cost, but I have no experience with them.
I have none in stock at the moment (1.3.2012) but will order them if someone purchases one.
Please check the Events page for a time when I will have mine out for demonstration.
