Maintenance requires only annual waxing with a good quality furniture wax, or even a car wax, both of which will maintain the seal and water resistant surface without leaving a residue on your felt. In the store, the Blockhead is $235, but since shipping has been costing about $20 to various parts of the country, the price here reflects an additional $12 which, along with the $8 shipping fee added by Paypal at checkout, covers the shipping to most parts of the country. This slightly new version allows for smaller sizing....I had a number of inquiries for smaller as opposed to larger sizing so the new models cover 18 - 23 (the original ones covered 19 - 24).
