Mars The Marseille olive oil comes in a large block which lasts a long time.I just grate it up into hot water for wetting my felt. Then to add additional soap if necessary without overdoing it, I just rub my hands directly on the bar and then apply them to the felt. It's easy and really nice to work with.Great on the hands and it isn't harsh on the wool the way Ivory can be. I've tried other brands of olive oil soap (Kiss my Face, etc) and none have worked as well as this....must be something about the process of milling the soap in France. Price: $13.00 The Morrocan olive oil comes in a "congealed" form that is perfect for small, hand intensive pieces like beads, buttons, working small spaces. Lisa Klakulak of Strongfelt distributes this product and introduced me to it when she was here for workshops this past weekend. I liked it very well for detail work. Because of its consistency, it is easy to use and a dab on my fingertip was perfect for working in small spaces and details. I still prefer my Marseille for large pieces like bags, scarves and garments, but will always have a jar of the Moroccan open for the detail work. Price per jar: $10
