Pulled Silk  
Pulled silk is a lovely surface embellishment for felt and silk paper, adding a subtle color to the surface (blow the picture up to see how colorful this really is). Adding it to your batt (photo top right) or roving while spinning yarn creates a lovely tweed yarn. In the photo above, the yarn on the left is spun from the pulled silk itself: the yarn on the right is spun from the blended batt shown above right. Packed in 2 ounce bags.All bags look pretty similar to this....there are lots of colors in there if you look closely and the blend is pretty consistent. A little goes a long way!
