Cinnamon Tussah Top 
Shown far left in the photo above, this tussah top is a caramel or cinnamon color naturally. Not quite as fine as the regular tussah (shown middle) but also spun from the wild type silk moth, rather than the bombyx mori moth that produces the finest bombyx silk top (shown far left). The natural color is lovely and takes dyes welll...producing a range of "earth" tones more subdued than when you dye the bombyx or even the creamier white tussah. Anyway, it adds a lovely sheen to the surface of felt. Sold in 2 oz bags. Price: $9/bag |
