Vermont Fair Isle Inspired by the natural beauty of Vermont and needed for a class on multi-colored knitting, my sister designed this sweater. Using only 5 colors instead of the 12 or 14 in most traditional fair isles and knit at a gauge of 5 sts/inch rather than 7 or 8 sts/inch, this sweater is a great way to achieve the colorful patterning of fair isle knitting but have the sweater finished quickly!
