Dyed Locks   
These dyed locks are perfect for embellishing felt, for use as hair in needle felted dolls and gnomes, and are wonderful to incorporate into novelty yarns as you spin. Because of the way they are dyed, the locks are generally not a solid color, but rather show a range of colors in the family of color ordered. As you can see from the photo above and left, Carribean Greens, this colorway features a range from turquoise, light teal and yellow. The photo far right show how "blues" is apt to be and the second from the left shows "sunset pinks". The photo second from the right I've tried to show how yellow (quite lemony) differs from ochre (bottom left) and gold (middle bottom) differs from "orange" on the far right. My idea of chartreuse is the middle bundle in the top row. What I call "woodland gnomes" has some rust/brown plus gold and/or green and sometimes a hint of black or purple....it just reminds me of the forest.
