Dyed Reeled Silk  
This dyed reeled silk is a great embellishment for both felting and silk paper. Above right, a wad of reeled silk is shown on the bottom of the frame and a piece of felt into which the reeled silk is worked is shown at the top of the frame. The second picture above shows another section of nuno-felt using the reeled silk as embellishment. Reeled silk is packed in 2 oz bags and the colors are variegated within a family (like the wad above shows blue, periwinkle and purple all together). Price: $6.25 per 2 oz bag |
