Stainless Steel

This very fine yarn features a blend of stainless steel with either wool or silk (depending on the color). The resulting combination of fibers is pliable, holds it's shape and quite strong. I've both woven and knit with it. Below I show it in a handknit scarf. My current warp uses it so when it's off the loom I'll throw a picture of it up as well, but frankly, you really can't get a sense of this yarn from a photo! It's value comes not in it's visual properties, but in that it can be twisted and pulled into unusual shapes so it's fun to play with. I have a number of sweater kits in stock (Habu kits) that use a strand of this with another yarn. Each cone has 281 yds. Price: 24.00
