Debbie Bliss Amalfi

This new Debbie Bliss yarn is a 70% cotton, 15% viscose, 10% linen and 5% silk blend that knits at 5.5 sts/inch on a US 6. It has 110 yards per skein. It features a bit of texture....not so much that it throws off your tension or that you'll get your needle caught in any surface features, but just a gentle texture that adds surface interest to a stockinette stitch surface that would otherwise seem rather plain. There are several patterns for it in the newest Debbie Bliss magazine, available below. In addition, the empire waist swing jacket shown here with the lovely back pleat detail is featured in the spring book for Amalfi. The book and yarn for this model are available as a kit.
