Jo Sharp > Silk d.k. Jo Sharp/Kathmandu Silk dks Like their aran weight counterparts, these tweed yarns by Jo Sharp and Kathmandu feature a 85% merino wool, 10% silk & 5% cashmere blend. Their luxuriously soft hand knits at about 5.5 sts/in on US 6 needle. Each 50 gm ball has 147 yds. The fitted cardigan below (shown in purple) features a subtle textured pattern around the cuffs and bottom and a split collar. The details will show up better in a lighter color than I knit here (I originally planned a different pattern with this yarn but found that I brought the wrong pattern book on vacation with me and I had to knit something!).
