Kid Seta & Doceour et Soie Silk-Mohair Laceweights Both these brands of very fine lace yarns are 70% kid mohair and 30% silk. Each 25 gram ball has 230 yds. Beautiful on its own, it is shown crocheted in black on the far left, then shown knit along with a novelty yarn like Charm. The curlicue scarf is knit using 1 skein and then I simply bound off with a heavier rayon yarn. The lace cardigan below took 4 balls and the pattern is free with the purchase of 4 balls. If you want some other options in this type of yarn, check out the Kid Merino...it's the same weight and yardage, but has merino blended with the kid mohair instead of silk. It's not as lustrous, but is a bit less expensive and is offered in a different range of colors, including some variegateds.
