Kudo This 55% cotton, 40$ rayon and 5% silk yarn is a summer/spring version of Boku (which in turn, is Plymouth Yarn's version of Noro's Kureyon). For those of you who enjoy Noro's yarns, Kudo offers the same gradation of stripes in a gradual and "tweedy" way and in a yarn that has NO WOOL. I machine washed this yarn on gentle. Each skein features 198 yards. 4.5 sts-5 /in on US 7.You can see from the scarf below that on a short repeat (this is just 20 sts) the stripes are thick; whereas knit up using Elizabeth Zimmerman's Baby Surprise Jacket (shown right) the stripes are smaller. The Baby Surprise Jacket took 1.5 sks (the pattern is in The Opinionated Knitter, or also available in leaflet at the store) and this project is available as a kit (yarn and leaflet pattern).
