Bliss Yarns > Paloma These chainette yarns are everywhere this year. Bliss's is 60% alpaca/40% merino and it is "to-dye-for" soft. The chainette construction gives the chunky gauge but without the density, weight and stiffness of a single ply. It also makes it less apt to pill and more insulating and warmer! If you're interested in this fiber blend and the benefits of a chainette yarn but want a smaller gauge, check out Cascade's Cloud. Very Very soft....this yarn is recommended at 2-3/inch on US 15.
