Patches This wool-mohair-acrylic blend yarn knits up to produce stripes of different textures (rather like Noro's yarns do for color). Depending on the number of stitches you cast on, you may have 1-2 inches of a thick and then, then 1 or so inches of mohair, then an inch or so of a "flag" type of yarn, etc. Wonderfully textured and some nice colors.
