Vermont Sled Dog This yarn is spun using 20% Vermont sled dog (yes, we have quite an active "mushing" community here) and this fiber is from a gorgeous team of Samoyeds. It is blended with border leceister to give it some luster. It softens and halos as you knit/wear it and it doesnt' smell like dog, but will keep you warm like your best friend! Kits for the scarf shown below (knit in blue) available, or buy it by the skein here. The cowl/wimple I knit below takes 2 sks and the pattern is sent free when you buy 2 sks of a color. Knits at 5 sts/inch on US 8. 125 yards per skein. Price: $22
