Homestead Aran: Solids & Tweeds
This popular aran weight (4-4.5 sts/inch US 9-10) yarn is spun from Peruvian Highland wool. It is available in both solids (some rather heathery) and tweeds.
Even the slightly more expensive Tweed version is a great value yarn and many customers who have knit with either the solids or Tweeds has come back for more, which I always think is a great testament to a yarn. And as you can see from the garment detail pictured here, it has decent stitch definition.
