Store Policies

We are happy to accept returns of yarn for store credit.

  • you must have the original store receipt (not your credit card receipt)

  • must be within 30 days of purchase

  • must be in its original condition (no smoke smells, dog/cat hair, same weight and no ripped or stained labels)

No returns or exchanges are accepted for needles, patterns, books, any accessories or fibers.

No returns or exchanges on special order items, such as looms or wheels.

If you have ordered your yarn online and you want to  return it, you must do so within 30 days and you are responsible for any shipping fees associated with a yarn return or exchange. You will be refunded the cost of the product returned

No food, beverages or pets (except seeing eye dogs) allowed in the store.

Shoes and shirts expected.

Although we sometimes have recycled bags in stock from yarn or fiber shipments to offer, in order to comply with local laws regarding single use bags and in an effort to help the environment,  we no longer provide bags. So please remember to bring a reuseable bag with you!

Class Polices

We reserve the right to cancel a workshop for lack of enrollment. That decision will be made 2 weeks in advance of the start date. If we cancel a class, we will refund those who enrolled 100%, of course.

We have quite a few customers fly here for classes, or drive distances and stay in hotels. We are not responsible for any hotel or travel expenses incurred if we cancel a class

No refunds or exchanges (i.e. you can't expect to roll over your registration to the next session or another class) on class registration if you can't make class. We fully refund, of course, if the class is cancelled for lack of enrollment, but if you cancel or quit the class once you have registered you will not be refunded.  You are welcome to find a person to take your place. If we have a wait list for the class, we will provide you with their contact information so you may try to find yourself a replacement.

We make go-no/go decisions about class two weeks in advance of the start date, at the latest. If enrollment is weak we will refund those registered at that time when the class is cancelled. And if we know the class is a definite "go" ahead of the two week mark, we will let registrants know as soon as we have met the class minimum to run.

Materials fees for classes, if not indicated that they are included in the instruction fee, will be collected at the time of the workshop. Materials fees for visiting teachers must be provided in cash or check - we cannot process their materials fee thru our credit card system.
