The Northeast Fiber Arts Center is located just 10 minutes from downtown Burlington, Vermont. We are an emporium for fine quality yarns from around the world as well as local Vermont knitting yarns. Plus we offer fibers for spinning & felting and weaving supplies, spinning wheels,looms and a large stock of needle felting supplies & kits ! We have oodles of inventory & gobs of inspiration! We carry Noro knitting yarns and knitting yarns by Jo Sharp, Debbie Bliss, Louisa Harding, Elsebeth Lavold, Habu, and many, MANY more. We stock lots of sock yarns and many beautiful varieties of lace yarn. In addition to the standards like Lopi, Lamb's Pride, Cascade 220 we offer over 25 varieties of 100% wool knitting yarn, including organic merino Vermont yarn, organic cotton, Fair Trade and Eco-spun yarns, a dozen or so textured wool and wool blend knitting yarns, plus many luxury knitting yarns such as angora, alpaca, cashmere, buffalo, qiviut and silk. And for those of you in warmer climates, we offer many specialty plant based yarns like hemp, bamboo, tencel and linen. With all this, plus patterns, books, dyes, classes and expert help, Is it any wonder that we are known as the "candy store" for knitters, spinners, felters and weavers?
