Haze This yarn is made of 60% corn and 40% cotton. Each 100 gm skein features 275 yards. It knits at 5.25 - 5.5 sts/inch on a US 6. I was pleasantly surprised at the elasticity in this yarn...usually the plant based yarns have no give whatsoever, making them harder on the hands to knit, less resilient to being pulled and stretched, and less forgiving if you have any uneveness of tension when knitting. But this yarn has more spring to it than any cotton, soy, hemp or linen yarn. I did not alternate balls on the swatch below (knit in color purple); I just knit from one end of one ball and the color did not pool or stripe, but rather blended nicely. The short sleeved summer top shown right shows how the colors happen without alternating balls. I happen to like asymmetry so like the effect, but if it's not for you, you'd better alternate skeins.
