Home > Yarns > Yarns by Noro > Kochuron by Noro Kochuron by Noro This angora, wool & silk yarn knits up quickly at 3-3.5 sts/in on US 11. With a striping pattern reminiscent of the other Noro Yarns, Kochuron is tweedier (if there is such a word!) and is characterized by a halo of white angora fluff that softens the transitions from one color to another. Shown below in a crossover vest that ties as the side (color no longer available), a simple pullover, felted mittens and in the Spiral Hat pattern (right). This yarn is warm and lightweight even tho' it knits at a bulky gauge. One skein does a scarf that has been really popular...(cast on 120 sts to a 29-40" long circular US 11-13 needle and knit every row).
