ball. It comes in a great range of summer colors and knits up with a really nice drape and lightweight hand. Perfect for a summer top. This yarn makes a great 3 season pullover...spring, summer and fall. Although it is mostly cotton, it has a nice elasticity to it and a lustrous sheen that actually makes it look quite dressy, although I'm not sure my photos caught that. There are several patterns featured for this yarn in Lavold's book #10, available under books. Same gauge as Hempathy, so this book works great for both yarns.

Each time I wear this top I am surprised at how nice it feels on, since in the ball, the yarn (being a variation on a ribbon construction) doesn't feel particularly soft. I also get lots of rather surprised compliments from customers when I wear it and show them the yarn it is knit from! Price: $7/ball
