Outland This bulky gauge wool-acrylic blend yarn is lovely and soft. It would be perfect for a hat or headband, and becuase of the acrylic content, would lighten up a sweater....so you'd still get the bulky look and it would knit quickly, but it wouldn't be as dense, heavy or hot as a 100% bulky wool might be. 99 yds/skein it knits at 3.5 on US 8 - 11. This is similar to Expression, but not as thick and thin and a bit softer. But if you want more texture, go with Expression. Price:$9.00/ball.
