Thick N' Thins Both of these variegated thick n' thin yarns knit up quickly into fabric with gentle surface texture and a very soft hand. The colors neither stripe nor pool and produce a Monet-like appearance.The sweater shown below is using a color that is no longer available, but there are lots of other great colors to pick from. I used the Ann Norling basic adult sweater pattern for this garment. Three skeins makes a great scarf and the pattern is free with the 3 sk purchase. Both the Reno & Fiamma brand yarns are predominantly wool and also felt well. . Plan on 3 for the scarf and 12-14 sks. for an adult pullover 42-44" chest. Knits at 3 sts/in on a US 10.5 - 11.
