Home > Scarf Yarns > Ruffling Ruffling Scarf Yarns Flounce started it all a year ago. Then came the "edgier"version, Triana. And then Ondas (a softer less acrylic Flounce) and Flounce Metallic arrived this fall going into the holidays. For those knitters who hated poking their needle thru random holes, Rizos (with the predefined spot to poke) was developed and followed by Ronda, which features an elegant little color edging. I suppose the natural evolution of this category was to come out with some natural fiber versions and so along came Park Ave (the woolier Flounce). I thought this was the last, but then this week a hand-dyed version, Merino Wool, arrived! Each has it's own uniqueness and price point. One skein of any of them will do a scarf, but each one is a little different.
