Homestead Hearty by Plymouth
This lovley 100% wool is a bulky gauge line extension of the popular aran weight Homestead which Plymouth introduced a few years back.

Spun from highland Peruvian wool, the Homestead Hearty is available in a lovely palette of natural colors and knits 3-3.5 sts/inch on a US 10.5-11.

Homestead Hearty features 125 yards per 100 gm hank, it knits up into a fabric with a really nice hand for a classic garment. I knit this simple mistake rib hat using about 2/3 of a skein....so with the purchase of 2 sks you could knock off 3 hats! Think ahead to your holiday gift list - get 2 different colors and end up with 2 solid colored hats (each different colors) and a striped hat! Easy on the pocketbook, too!
