A new yarn from Mirasol for fall 2026.

28% alpaca, 22 % fine wool, 16% cotton and the rest poly blend. This yarn offers a bulky gauge but that is lightweight and has a lovely drape. It's super soft and gives a lovely tweedy texture.

​

Recommended knit anywhere from 4-5 sts/inch on a US 7-9 OR up to 3 sts/inch on a 10.5-11. They may even suggest a US 13 is ok! It really depends on what type of fabric you want. The shawl Chris is working on is being knit on a US 10. It could easily be done on a 10.5 or 11 depending on how you knit.
