This blend of superfine alpaca and merino wool (with just a touhc of polyamide to add strength) is so light and soft, it is the perfect fiber combo and yarn construction to provide a cozy garment that will keep you warm even during the coldest months here in Vermont!
The alpaca is soft and 7 times more insulating than wool. The merino wool adds elasticity which gives your garment memory (i.e. it won't sag or droop the way 100% alpaca is apt to do!).
Recommended knit at 3 - 3.5 sts/inch on a US 10.5-11 (7 or 8 mm) each ball has 87 yards.
