This machine washable 100% merino wool knits at a d.k. gauge and is a great option if you want to knit some of the wonderful designs that feature Spincycle yarns, but don't want to mortgage the house to do so!
Both a "marl" yarn (2 different stretches of color plied together to yield a tweed look) and a long repeat of color makes this yarn a nice choice for shawls and colorwork.
The Night Shade cowl/neck wrap shown left was knit using 3 colors of this yarn (2 each of the MC and secondary color and 1 ball of the third color).
