Zauberball Crazy

A great choice for socks, shawls, wraps and garments, customers have fun using this yarn in a multitude of different ways.

75% wool/25% nylon, it stands up well in socks. And the tweedy long color repeat creates a fun yarn to incorporate along with solid colors (like Malabrigo Sock or Sweet Georgia's Tough Love Sock yarns) into shawls. In the 54" x 8" scarf shown to the left here, I alternated 1 skein each of 2 different colorways in a chevron pattern. And the baby sweater shown here used just 1 ball.

You can see from each photo that I captured the tag showing how the colors knit up to give you an idea of the color repeat, since just looking at the skein and imagining how it will work up is difficult for some.

440 yards/skein; recommended knit at 7.5 sts/inch on US 2.  I knit the scarf using US 4 since it was garter stitch. The baby sweater pattern is a Drops Design interpretation of the classic Elizabeth Zimmerman "Baby Surprise" sweater.
