What's not to love about baby alpaca for a gorgeous hat, cowl or uber warm mittens!

Soft and warm, the key to working with 100% baby alpaca is to knit a small project and/or to knit tightly. Try to knit this at a larger gauge and your garment or accessory will lose its shape. And in my experience, knitting too large a project (i.e. sweater) in straight baby alpaca at this gauge and it will lose it's shape too.
So keep this for smaller projects - nothing beats it for a cowl, scarf, hat or mittens.

131 yards/ 100 gm skein. Recommended knit at 3.5-4 sts/inch on a US 8-10 needle
