This 100% cotton yarn by Schoeppel features a long color repeat and a knitting gauge of 7 sts/inch on a US 7.
It has been popular for shawls, weaving, and for knitting wash cloths (you can get several out of one ball). Each ball is wound starting at a different part of the color sequence, so you can get two balls of the same colorway that look totally different on the outside (see the gallery for an example).
