Tenderfoot
This is a wonderful yarn for colorwork mittens as well as the socks for which it was designed. And as you can see in the detail photo in the left gallery, it is also nice for a shawl.
The 25% nylon added to the 75% lambs wool gives the yarn extra durability required for a sock or mitten to stand up to the rigorous toll these two accessories take as we wear them!
The tight twist also yields a good stitch definition if you want to add some interesting cable or lace to your sock tops or shawl edging. And the not-overly-processed nature of the yarn means that in color work it really holds nicely and creates an almost velvety surface on the finished mitten.
